My name is Dylan Gates and I'm a teacher-trainer, business English coach, and course desiger based in Spain.

I first came across Dogme or Teaching Unplugged in about 2008 and it really resonated with me.

As a firm believer in adopting a learner-centred approach to working with adult language learners, I learned as much as I could about the approach.

In 2021, I attended a training course with Scott Thornbury, who is regarded as the originator of teaching unplugged. It was a wonderful experience that confirmed my belief that effective language learning means doing more with less.

I'd love to connect with other language teachers who follow the three principles of teaching unplugged
